ATMS Natural Medicine Awards 2021
Our congratulations go to Kylie Hayes who has been short listed for the Student of the Year Award.
Kylie is a wonderful nominee who has demonstrated excellence in her field and has made significant contributions to her profession, industry and overall commitment to the advancement of the health of the Australian community.
Kylie Hayes – Advanced Diploma of Clinical Nutrition and Advance Diploma of Clinical Naturopathy
Kylie’s true passion even as a young girl has always been traditional natural medicine. She found herself working in the medical industry and always knew that there was a real need for traditional medicine to help people in many ways, preventatively in a proactive approach, supportively by treating earliest symptoms of disease and developing and using an individualised, holistic approach.
Alongside studies of Nutrition, Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine she works part time as a National Manager in a Not-For-Profit Mental Health organisation (NEABPD Australia) where she also volunteers her time in helping loved ones and carers of people who suffer from BPD globally.
Through student clinic she has built relationships with clients and having consistent follow ups with them has helped her build a solid foundation of trust, understanding who they are, and how to treat them holistically through all the modalities she has learnt - nutrition, herbal medicine, Bach flowers, homeopathy and using evidence-based practices to support treatment plans.
Her focus whilst studying has been on women’s health, autoimmune diseases, PCOS, endometriosis and adenomyosis. In her final year of study she has been focused on setting up clinical practice and hopes to be open by the end of the year to support, treat and educate women on reaching their best health potential emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically.
