COLLEGE ONLINE STUDY RESOURCES
In addition to the above, Nature Care College also subscribes to a number of online databases that can be easily accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
They are available for staff and enrolled students on a password basis. Passwords are updated at the beginning of each term and can be accessed via the Useful Student Resources section in the Student Portal.
The online databases are an essential part of your studies, providing relevant and current information to support your learning needs.

MEDLINE® (Citations only)
A bibliographic database produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).
Designed for practitioners in the complementary and holistic medicine areas, as well as interested individuals, it has a wealth of information in several sections.
Natural Medicines includes over 1500 monographs on herbs, vitamins and minerals, supplements and foods, as well as complementary and alternative treatments, including specialized diets.
Each monograph is also available as patient handout in a number of languages.
In addition to the monographs, Natural Medicines also includes a database of commercially available dietary supplements, comparisons of effectiveness of substances and treatments and details of interactions of different substances.
OTHER FREE ONLINE RESOURCES
PubMed is an online database comprising more than 30 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher websites (summary taken from the website)
