About the role:

The Marketing Coordinator provides assistance and support to the marketing team with day to day administrative and marketing tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth execution of marketing plans to achieve BioMedica’s overall business goals. They will play a key part in supporting and implementing marketing initiatives to enhance BioMedica’s brand presence within the practitioner community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social media management: Manage social media posting (incl. some content creation), monitoring and analysis across 3 platforms to increase reach and engagement with practitioners and patients.
  • Email marketing: Assist with preparing and sending monthly email communication to different practitioners segments and manage BioMedica’s audience in Mailchimp.
  • Event coordination: Help with the development and execution of internal, industry and customer events (physical and online) and provide post event analysis. Manage the events email inbox and providing certificate of attendance to participants.
  • Database management: Help ensure that all our databases are clean, active and “connected” across MailChimp, Magento, Exo, Zoho and HubSpot including managing the student upgrade process.
  • Website content management:  Manage the monthly upload process on BioMedica’s website and SharePoint to ensure that all our tools and deals are displayed accurately and available as per agreed timing.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of different marketing campaigns, providing reports and recommendations for optimisation of current processes.
  • Admin Support: Support both customer service and sales team when required. Print, collate and send BioMedica monthly rep packs.

 

Desired qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a similar / related industry
  • Ideally degree qualified in Communications / Marketing or equivalent
  • Proficient with social media scheduling platforms and tools and data measurement and metrics 
  • Experience with content creation (written, video, graphics)
  • Good understanding of CRM platforms (Eg. HubSpot, Zoho)
  • Familiarity with Website CMS (Eg. Magento)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platform (eg. MailChimp)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and end-to-end management of projects
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and deliver project in a deadline driven environment
  • Sound analytical skills
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Passionate about health and complementary medicines
