Locum Remedial Massage Therapist or Myotherapist

Category: Tactile Therapies & Bodywork

Region: Sydney Metropolitan

Sub-Region: Lower North Shore

Date Posted: 01 April 2021

I am seeking a locum Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist (qualified to at least diploma level), from 13 April, while I take around four to five months off work to recover from surgery.

I rent a room at Well-Balanced Healthcare, an established Mosman based multi-disciplinary clinic, which enjoys a strong reputation in the community.  They offer osteopathy, acupuncture, remedial massage and myotherapy.

Your passion for patient care, together with your empathic and patient nature, will easily allow you to build rapport with clients.  Working autonomously, and as part of a team of experienced practitioners, you will be able to tailor treatments to the client’s needs and deliver the best possible outcome for the client, whether that be recovery from injury or maintaining wellbeing.

You must be eligible for health fund recognition, have professional association membership, professional indemnity/public liability insurance, a first aid certificate and an ABN. Employment is contract based.  Must be available Saturdays.  Availability Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be highly regarded.

The clinic supports Massage Therapists with reception during normal business hours and laundry.  You will need to provide your own oils.

You can find out more about the clinic practitioners and modalities on their website www.wellbalanced.healthcare.

There may be a possibility of additional days being available.

Please forward resume to Dean Hansson, hanssonda@gmail.com or telephone 0432 621 910.
