This exciting Herbal Manufacturing course focuses on practical activities in the kitchen in combination with essential Herbal Medicine theory.

You will learn about the process of making high quality herbal extracts from plants.

How to create the ultimate growing, drying and storing conditions for raw herbal materials.

How to identify toxic and non-toxic wild and locally growing medicinal plants.

Learn about the theory of extraction and extract strength to the preparation of topical and ingestible herbal preparations.

Included in the course cost is a course kit containing a variety of dried herbs. Note you will be required to purchase a few small items separately and one required text.

Pre-requisites for Herbal Manufacturing are two subjects Herbal Medicine A and Herbal Medicine B. Herbal Manufacturing is offered in Term 3 annually.
