You will learn how eating a wholefood plant-based diet plays a crucial role in preventing and reversing diseases. The beneficial effect of a wholefood diet on diseases affecting the liver, kidneys, lung, heart, blood, digestive system & bowel.
Specific diseases such as, IBS, Alzheimer's, Type 2 Diabetes, Food Allergies and cancer are looked at as well as immune boosting foods such as nitrates and phosphorous. You will also explore research in Health Creation /Disease Prevention and Gut Health.
Tips are provided to help transition to a wholefood plant-based diet and detailed information is given on how to avoid nutrient deficiencies. To bring it all together, there are some practical videos or demonstrations that help with implementing some of the recommendations to show you how easy it is to make healthy plant-based substitutions.
