Mindfulness Meditation Classes 

Would you like to take time out from the business of life and learn how to relax and find that inner peace? You will learn about stress and how to manage it, how to relax physically, unwind emotionally and calm your mind. Mindfulness can help you improve your self-esteem, compassion and ability to focus .You can acquire effective tools to help regulate your emotions and cultivate an appreciation for what is important to you in your life.

Duration of Classes 

The Mindfulness Meditation classes run for 1 hour each week and go for a duration of 4 week blocks. The cost for a four week block of classes is $95

Class Schedule for Term 1, 2017:

  • Monday 10.30am to 11.30am (27 February - 20 March)
  • Monday 10.30am to 11.30am (24 April - 15 May)

About Your Trainers

Alison Hutchens is a fully certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher by the Gawler Foundation and has been teaching meditation classes for more than 10 years. Alison is an accredited member of the of Meditation Association of Australia (ATMA ) and is also a registered Energetic Medicine Practitioners (AcuEnergetics) and Professional Coach.

Tai Chi 

Tai Chi is a holistic, ancient Chinese practice which enhances overall wellbeing by promoting the flow of Qi (life energy) through the body. Suitable for all fitness levels, Tai Chi is composed of slow, flowing movements which benefits musculoskeletal conditions and circulation, increases energy, alleviates stress and improves overall mental and physical wellbeing.

This course of guided weekly classes is open to people of all ages and fitness levels.

Duration of Classes

The Tai Chi classes run for 1 hour each week and go for a duration of 7 week blocks. The cost for a seven week block of classes is $115.50

  • Tuesday 11.00am to 12.00pm (21 February - 4 April)
     

What to bring to class:

Comfortable and loose fitting clothing is recommended to allow for free movement throughout your practice.

About your Trainer:

Angela Tian Zhu is a ATMS qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), World Academic Society of Medical QI Gong Council Member and a AKWF National Accredited Qi Gong and Tai Chi instructor. Angela was born in Beijing and followed in the footsteps of her grandfather, father and mother to become a TCM practitioner. She has practised in China and Europe and has been in practice in Australia since 1992.
