This one day workshop provides Massage Therapists with the opportunity to work with their tactile skills as they learn to identify the major boney landmarks of the body using palpation skills, and to enhance their visual assessment techniques through the recognition of these.

It also provides specific anatomical knowledge and biomechanical principles of the the human skeletal system as they relate to massage therapists in practice.

By the end of this comprehensive one day workshop you will have the skills, knowledge and techniques to:

  • Assess client through palpation, and visual assessment.
  • Identify the boney landmarks of the upper and lower extremities, pelvis, neck and spine.
  • Identify and discuss the biomechanical principles as they as they relate to the skeletal system and movement patterns.

Participants receive a certificate upon completion.
