WIFI Network

The college has a WIFI network throughout the campus for students to use.

Online Databases

Available for staff and currently enrolled students from the library or anywhere with internet access, on a password basis. Passwords are updated at the beginning of each term and can be accessed via Moodle or by contacting the library.

The online databases are an essential part of the collection. They provide relevant and current information to support learning needs of staff and students.

  1. Alternative Health Watch
    This database focuses on the complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. It offers full-text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed, journals and reports.
    In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research and book excerpts.
  2. Medline Complete
    A subset of the very popular PubMed website and peer assessed by the AMA, it is the largest companion to the MEDLINE index. This full-text database provides access to a large number of biomedical and health journals, covering a wide range of subjects. It is an essential resource for health professionals and researchers and has evidence based medicine as a priority.
    It includes 2500+ full text titles, many of these without publisher embargos.
  3. Biomedical Reference Collection Comprehensive
    This long established medical database has a large collection of full-text journals, with often cited full-text references as well.  Drawing from international sources, it balances Medline complete to cover all medical areas, with over 100 full text journal titles.

    Reliable healthcare information covering nursing, allied health, alternative and complementary medicine, and much more.

    Relevant resources for anyone interested in the business of running a health organization.
  4. Psychology Database
    Key information from leading psychology and psychosomatic publications.
  5. Public Health Database
    A global resource for students, faculty, researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and all others involved in the study of population and public health.
  6. Family Health Database
    Journals and magazines covering an enormous range of health subjects, from sports injuries to women's health, from food and nutrition to midwifery, from eye care to dentistry.
  7. MEDLINE® (Citations only)
    A bibliographic database produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Designed for practitioners in the complementary and holistic medicine areas, as well as interested individuals, it has a wealth of information in several sections.
Natural Medicines includes over 1500 monographs on herbs, vitamins and minerals, supplements and foods, as well as complementary and alternative treatments, including specialized diets.
Each monograph is also available as patient handout in a number of languages.
In addition to the monographs, Natural Medicines also includes a database of commercially available dietary supplements, comparisons of effectiveness of substances and treatments and details of interactions of different substances.



Availabe for staff and currently enrolled students from certain computers in the library.

Contains Product Information, Consumer Medicine Information, Product Images, Drug Interactions and PBS restrictions and pricing for all registered medicines in Australia.

Homeopathic software, containing repertories, materia medicas and patient files.
