Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy is a continuing professional education course that will equip you to treat conditions such as sinus infections, skin conditions, fluid retention, pre & post-surgery, detoxification, chronic fatigue, hormone imbalances, sporting injuries and stress management.

Lymphatic massage improves circulation and immunity. This specialised form of massage can enhance lymph formation and promote drainage of the superficial and deep lymph vascular network.

In this four-day workshop in Sydney, you will learn Anatomy and Physiology of the Lymphatic System, the difference between oedema and lymphedema, as well as the conditions responsible for their development. A full body treatment taught in sequence, that can be used in parts or in its entirety.

Participants receive a certificate upon completion.

Course pre-requisite: Minimum Professional Certificate in Massage Therapy

About the facilitator - Catherine Vaubell

Catherine has been practicing bodywork since 1994. Early in her massage career, she developed a particular interest in lymphatic drainage and has completed extensive specialised training. She uses lymphatic drainage in a variety of situations in her practice in the Blue Mountains, including working with lymphedema.

In addition, Catherine has taught various forms of bodywork, as well as yoga for many years. She recognises the importance of a sustainable working posture and aims to guide each student in their own and best way to work.

LDM was my first course at the Nature Care College and most definitely won't be the last! Catherine was very engaging and knowledgeable with very good teaching skills. She made us fell at easy and create the perfect environment for learning.
