Healthy Skin Workshop - Nutrition for Skin Disorders

Gain practical knowledge on treating common skin disorders including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea and acne, from the author of The Healthy Skin Diet and The Eczema Diet.

Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome (TSW/Red Skin Syndrome) is a chronic and painful skin condition. TSW sufferers can have a wide range of nutritional deficiencies and sensitivities to foods and topical skin care ingredients. You will learn how to treat this skin condition in a gentle and safe way.

When it comes to chronic skin problems, one diet does not fit all. Gain insights into the different dietary approaches for treating each skin disorder, plus discuss the scientific research, causes and symptoms. How to diagnose food/chemical sensitivities to take the guesswork out of giving diet and nutrition advice. We will discuss in depth the food charts, nutrients and contraindications for each skin disorder, so you can confidently prescribe the right diet and nutrients for your skin disorder patients.

This workshop is suitable for current students, practitioners, and anyone interested in learning about skin disorders and to improve their own skin health

testimonials

"I really enjoyed it! I'm still reading the course books now, it really opened my eyes to how the body processes food and how different foods make it function, which I wasn't really aware of before. I also liked that the assignments were based on your own life in a lot of ways, so you were forced to look at your diet and reflect on what you've learned..."
