Massage for Special Needs
In Massage for Special Needs you will learn how to care for clients who require special consideration when receiving massage treatments.
These include people who belong to a special population such as the elderly or frail, cancer suffers or survivors, children, infants, adolescents, those with illness or disease that is long-term or permanent or with mental health problems.
Designed for Massage Therapists, you will extend your skills and knowledge to assess and identity special needs and considerations, and provide modified massage techniques and develop and implement treatment plans that cater to a range of special needs.
Massage Therapists can use this short-course for Continuing Professional Development/Continuing Professional Education.
