Overview current nutritional trends, identify basic dietary requirements and understand basic concepts of established nutritional principles.

This taste-test of Nutrition covers the functions of essential nutrients, the beneficial and adverse properties of foods, basic dietary requirements for basic health, and identification of dietary modifications to improve digestive function and blood sugar regulation. Understand basic concepts of nutrition and a grasp of current nutritional trends as well as learn how to negotiate dietary change with clients.
