About the Course

The Diploma of Remedial Massage is an extension of the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice and is a natural progression for students wishing to further their studies and improve their potential as a comprehensive remedial therapist.

Studies include; Massage for Athletes, Massage for Special Needs, Massage for Chronic Conditions and Massage in the Workplace.

Qualifications:

Graduates will be awarded the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice which is a pre-requisite to
  • Diploma of Remedial Massage 

Post Graduate Pathways:

Graduates are also eligible to apply for articulation into the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) at Charles Sturt University .  

Other complementary studies for a graduate include the Certificate IV in Aromatherapy and Certificate IV in Reflexology.

Flexible Study Options:

• Set Full-time Program: 1 Year, 3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursdays & Fridays)
• Flexible Part-time Program 2 Years: Create your own timetable; choose from a selection of weekly, intensive and/or distance learning classes and Summer School fast track options

Course Duration: 1 Year Full-time: 3 days per week or Part-time 2 years

Course Start Dates: Full-time: Term 1, February or Part-time: February, May and September

2010: Payment Options

Option 1: Early Bird Discount: A 5% discount is available if the full amount of course fees & the $95.00 Enrolment Fee are paid one week prior to the start of the course.

Option 2: Pay term by term as you go:  An initial deposit of 50% of your first term tuition fees together with the $95 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance of tuition fees are then due on the first day of each term.

Fixed Full-Time Program: 1 year (3 days per wk) for Cert IV & Diploma

Option 3: Payment Plans: An initial deposit of 50% of your first Terms tuition fees together with the $95.00 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance can be paid by fortnightly or weekly instalments via direct debit with the balance due by the end of term. A 5% surcharge is applied to the outstanding balance as of the first week of term.  

Tuition Fees are inclusive of clinic hours

International Students: To calculate your course tuition fees add 10% to the total course cost. An annual administrative fee of $450 applies.

College tuition fees are reviewed annually.
