The Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to treat clients with a full body therapeutic massage.

What is Massage?

The healing power of touch manifests itself through many tactile therapy treatments, with one of the most popular and widely known being Remedial Massage. Remedial Massage practitioners utilise skilled techniques of manual manipulation of the soft tissue for the purpose of producing therapeutic effects upon the nervous, muscular and circulatory systems of the body. Our professional training programs are designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to treat clients with a full body therapeutic massage.

The minimum qualification to practice massage is the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. If you follow a Set Full-time Program you will graduate with a Certificate IV in 2 Terms and have the option of completing 1 additonal Term to also obtain the Diploma of Remedial Massage.

If you follow a Flexible Part-time Program you will graduate with a  Certficate IV in 1 Year.

Post Graduate Pathways:

Graduates of the Certficate IV in Massage Therapy Practice have the option of completing a few additional subjects to obtain the Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Course Duration: Full-time: 2 Terms or Part Time: 1 Year

Course Start Dates: Full-Time: 1 June, 2010 or Part-time: February, May,September & Summer School

Course Fees:

2010: Course Tuition Fees: $6335 + Enrolment Fee of $95.00

Payment Options:

Option 1: Early Bird Discount $6008: A 5% discount is available for full and part time students if the full amount of course fees & the $95.00 Enrolment Fee are paid one week prior to the start of the course.

Option 2: Pay term by term as you go:  An initial deposit of 50% of your first term tuition fees together with the $95 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance of tuition fees are then due on the first day of each term.

Set Full-Time Program: 2 Terms (3 days per week)

Option 3: Payment Plans: An initial deposit of 50% of your first term tuition fees together with the $95.00 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance can be paid by fortnightly or weekly instalments via direct debit with the balance due by the end of term. A 5% surcharge is applied to the outstanding balance as of the first week of term.

Tuition Fees are inclusive of clinic hours

International Students: To calculate your course tuition fees add 10% to the total course cost. An annual administrative fee of $450 applies.

College tuition fees are reviewed annually.
